Food and moderate alcohol consumption are often featured. We also list rides organised by others, usually with a link to their website.

Easter Full Moon Ride
Blind_Creek_Trail

Start: Thu, 24 Mar 2016
Time: 7:15 pm
Finish: 11:30 pm
Meeting place: Upper Ferntree Gully Railway Station

Come ride the Blind Creek Trail, Scotchman’s Creek Trail and then the Gardiner’s Creek Trail to the City.

Catch the Belgrave train to Upper Ferntree Gully Station from Flinders Street Station at 6:24. The last carriage will be at the St Kilda Rd end of the platform, the train goes via the City Loop (at least it’s supposed to…)

Bring food and drink to share at picnic stop on ride.

We will pass close to Glen Waverley station on the way back in case you don’t want to ride all the way into town. Some riders will branch off about there to head to destinations south of the City, and riding into the City from Glen Waverly is mostly via Gardiners Creek and Yarra off-road paths.

Bellarine rail trail

Meeting place: southern cross station Collin Vline spencer st entrance

Ride  the Bellarine rail trail we havent done this for while its a nice ride  we will stop in busy Queenscliff for a bite to eat

If Meeting Us in Geelong we start from South Geelong station  Cnr Yarra and Carr streets 

meet @Sth Cross Station for  9 am Geelong V line or 10am at Geelong

Distance : 71 km return

allow 6 to 7 hours for the day with train to and from geelong

bring. tubes 2, patch kit in case, tools, pump,  2 water bottles, myki . extra layer in case for train ride. lights if going to ride home from southern cross 

Suitable bikes hybrid or CX. any bike with tyres wider then 32mm should be fine as riding on gravel.  Could use road but please note parts of the trail are fine gravel will find it very challenging

Hump Day Evening Ride

Time : 6:15pm leave at 6:25pm

Slip away each Wednesday for an evening mystery trundle along either the Darebin , Capital City,Anniversary or Yarra trails The Routes Vary Each week

we may not run the ride if there is no Interest or other circumstances

Distance 30km -38km

Cancellation: pouring rain, no interest.

Bring: Food to share  or  may visit cafe, bike tubes, tools, water, lights etc,
