Food and moderate alcohol consumption are often featured. We also list rides organised by others, usually with a link to their website.

Freestyle Cyclists ride – Darebin Creek trail

Time: 11:00 am
Finish: 1:00 pm
Meeting place: Thomastown Railway Station

Details

Next Freestyle ride will be Sunday 21 August starting out from Thomastown Railway station and travelling down the Darebin Creek trail toward the city.

Markus and Claudia will lead the trip along the bike trails toward Fairfield at the Yarra.

Start: Thomastown Railway Station
When: 11am 21 August 2016
Finish: Main Yarra Trail near Fairfield.
Distance: approximately 25km but there may be the option of riding an extra 12km back to the city.

As always there will be plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the sights, sounds, coffee and companionship of the ride.

Getting there – it is a 43 minute trip from Flinders St station to Thomastown. Trains leave 10.08 to arrive at 10.51 on the South Morang line.

If you are running late the next train arrives at 11.11 but if you aren’t going to make it please let me know so we can wait for you.
