We will head south on the Upfield Shared Path to Park Street, along the Capital City Trail to the Moonee Ponds Creek, through Docklands then down the light rail line to Port Melbourne. We will then ride along the foreshore till we get hungry. We have the option of catching the train or riding home.

Meeting place: Jacana Railway Station
Being a midweek ride, a short one, leaving Jacana Station (one of the Earth’s great beauty spots), heading east along the ring-road trail and then south down the Merri Creek Trail.
Catch the 6:24 Craigieburn train from Flinders Street or meet at Jacana Station. Supper might be at Coburg lake, or earlier by demand.
Do your shopping before boarding the train, as we will head straight out from Jacana. Not that there is anything resembling civilisation near Jacana Station in any case.
