Start: Sat, 26 Dec 2015
Time: 7:05 pm
Finish: 11:00 pm
Meeting place: Seaford Railway Station
The full moon actually occurs at 22:11 on Friday 25th but if you are not scared of the dark (sunset on 26th is 8:44PM, moonrise is 9:09PM) come along for a long, languorous post-Christmas indulgence as we ride from Seaford to Mordialloc and then all the way back to the City.
You can choose to participate in the whole ride, or the first or last part. We should reach Mordialloc about 8:30 and will stop for supper at the rotunda at -38.008455, 145.084118
You can leave the ride at Mordialloc Railway station or join us from there between approx 8:30 and 8:45 PM.
Almost the whole ride is off-road, taking in the Seaford wetlands and other parks up to Mordialloc, then switching over to the beach path to St Kilda.
Using the protected lanes in Fitzroy St to reach Albert Park Lake, then the mean streets of South Melbourne to get back to the City.
Join the Frankston train from Flinders Street Railway Station at 6:08PM. The last carriage will be at the Elizabeth St end of the platform.
If you are wanting to do the second part of the ride, take the Frankston train from Flinders Street Railway station at 7:25PM, alight at Mordialloc and join us at -38.008455, 145.084118
Call 0412703483 if you are running late or having trouble finding the rotunda.

Start: Tue, 29 Dec 2015
Time: 10:30 am
Finish: 2:00 pm
Meeting place: Westgarth Station
The get together is for 2 purposes. The first is to provide information to members on the current Senate Inquiry and the new Victorian Cycling strategy. We have been busy attending hearings and writing submissions to both reviews over the past month and want to let you know what is happening. The second is to observe first hand the utility cycling culture around the Northcote and Fairfield areas
If you are coming from the City by train, take the 9:59AM Hurstbridge train from Flinders Street (platform 1) or 10:02AM from Southern Cross and alight at Westgarth Railway Station.
Our guide will take us on a bike friendly tour around the local shops. We will conclude the ride at Fifteen Pounds cafe in Fairfield with a meeting. At this meeting we will be discussing our strategy for the next year when the outcome of both the Senate Inquiry and the updated Victorian Cycling Strategy will be released.
