Here is your list of Bike Fun events and more. Love to see you on a ride soon! Bike Fun rides mostly go at a social pace, Some rides are off-road recreational, some are on-road mini-masses. Food and moderate alcohol consumption are often featured. We also list rides organised by others, usually with a link to their website.

Port Phillip BUG: October social ride

‘Recycle cycle’ Social Ride.
The ride has an ecological / recycling theme. Most of these businesses are community based and not-for-profit.
BYO spare inner tube and water bottle.
Our destination are
1. South Melbourne Market (compost, worm juice),
2. Port Phillip Resource Recovery Centre (be informed about hard waste recycling)
3. Back 2 Bikes (not for profit bike repair and sales)
4. St Kilda Indigenous Nursery Cooperative (Spring plant sale)
5. Redstar Espresso Bar and Urban Garden (first coffee company in Australia to be 100% carbon offset from tree to cup)
6. St. Kilda Adventure Playground (Community built playground)

Moreland BUG ride

Start: Wed, 18 Oct 2017

Finish: 4:27 pm
Meeting place: Moreland Railway Station (East side)

Details

Rides are held every two weeks, for details closer to the date, contact the organiser.

Meet at Moreland Railway station at 10:00am for a 10:10 departure. Should be back by 4:27pm. Bring bike, sunscreen, wet weather gear, water, MYKI, snacks, lunch (and/or money). Pace will be leisurely depending on requirements of the group. Text me if you are interested. If you want to plan ahead, rides will be every fortnight. See http://www.morelandbug.org for BUG events.
